Bug#765981: debian-edu-artwork-spacefun: source package contains png files instead of generating those from .svg

Hi,

I just saw we can drop 5.5mb from the source package by dropping
debian-edu-spacefun-wallpaper01_XxY.png and generate this from
the also existing .svg file:

in the debian-edu-artwort-spacefun binary package we have:

This is _not_ an option!!!


The .svg in debian-edu-artwork-spacefun has been generated from the
largest .png with the "Vectorize bitmap" tool. The .svg is required
for lightdm (as lightdm choked on .png files with my tests).

The quality of the .svg is bad and only hardly tolerable.
Re-generating PNG files from it would end-up in a theme with very low
quality backgrounds.

so, IOW, we dont have sources for spacefun. So we do have two options now,
ignore that, and do what you suggest. That's how I instructed ***@b.d.o
for now.

Or, we do the proper thing and drop spacefun as we lack the original sources
to generate the pngs, as evident. I'll have to think whether we actually can
*not* do that :/

Talking with the artist atm again, the source is not an svg but a "3d mesh
with 2d textures" (done with some tool not in Debian)... he estimates 2h to
re-create svg sources... not sure if he will find the time.. we should never
accept artwork without sources again. Grrrrr.

size of d-e-a to something sensible. But there is #765980 for
that.
